Wow, that was fast, thanks a lot SBS. I have some of the songs, I will need to check out the others. I will let you know when I have my own "Power for the runner moms playlist".

Our newly formed Mom's Running Club is currently passing around some cds of music that were burned (based on our collective favorite songs) to do just this very thing ... share what powers us through.

Thanks for posting this! Will have to compare and see what similar "likes" we all have!

Here's an iTunes iMix of most of the songs (except Buffy and GirlTalk) for easy access.

http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewIMix?id=302734039&s=143441

(The link should launch iTunes, and may only work if you have iTunes installed)

El Capitan, the fact that Here Comes the Hotstepper is on your playlist rocks my world. Love it!

Hey SBS, as you know I'm hot/cold on running with music these days, but every once in awhile I crack out my mp3 to change up my workout. On Sunday, I pulled it out again, listening first to NPR's "This American Life" (the BEST for long runs!) and then I moved on to music. The second song was Fatboy Slim's version of "Right Here, Right Now" PERFECT. I replayed it 3 times. Totally spoke to me considering the running issues I've had lately. And my achilles felt great. Right here, right now. Yee-haw!
