Running with a Stroller article in New York Times

Not sure which I'm more proud of: the fitness feature I wrote that is in today's New York Times Thursday Styles section about running with a stroller....

Or the Gawker article trashing it!

Oh she's just jealous that she doesn't have abs like that Mommy does! Besides, parents who are fit, have kids who are fit. Parents who smoke, have kids who smoke. Fat lazy parents raise fat lazy kids. So loop around Central Park over and over. Keep the jogger in action. Little ones along for the ride are learning something. And if a side effect is a good looking body, aw so be it!

Hi Sarah! I am so glad you wrote this article. I am 6 mos pregnant and I'm in the process of testing out jogging strollers. Now I have an etiquette dilemma! A non-running friend gave me a jogger that she bought at a garage sale. She gave it to me at a shower, and I thanked her up and down for it. Well, I went online to check out the specs, and the manufacturer stopped making it in 2003 and it had three pretty bad reviews. Now what do I do?? I want to buy the one I want (and will use), but I don't want to hurt her feelings. Any ideas??

I have to admit that it looks quite hard and I bet that it is tiring to do with a stroller.
